Me and aBlazeNet!
After the experience of being born again, I had a strong desire to work for him. I was stuck at home with nothing much to do, I was so eager to know HIM, I never let go any chance for that. I was seeking and I understood that HE has some plans for me.
As I was thinking about reaching out, I felt that the ends of the world need to include the cyber world too. Being a computer professional and my association with some ministries in India, I start helping them set up their on line presence, creating websites and so on and in that way help them reach out.. as I moved on I felt that we are not using our potential to the best.
After about an year, I was back in Bahrain and away from family, here I had plenty of free time so I start thinking about some wider, more powerful and interactive means to reach out.
These ministries I was associated with were not willing to venture into an unfamiliar grounds so I had to take up the challenge myself. I then decided to try Chat as a means to reach out, I start chatting at CCNet (Christian Chat Network) sharing the word of God and presenting my testimony, but due to some restrictions there I could not open a room of my own. So I moved to MSN, and created “JesusLoves” in July 2001. An year after being born again.
That room was very popular, and we could lead many towards Christ, also there were healing deliverance and restoration of broken relationships, and that gave me some insight on how God will be using me. We were there for almost a year and a half and was one of the first rooms to have a bible bot (a robotic program to quote bible verses) in MSN, after a while MSN started hunting down bots and me along with the Bible Bots got banned from MSN, I then tried out few servers for opening a channel; and finally opened “JesusLoves” on Chatster.Org in November 2002.
During that time we met a girl from another network who had some experience in running chat servers and we decided to go in for our own Network and that’s aBlazeNet That was in July 2003 and the Network was dedicated to the services of our Lord by one of our friend and Pastor Dan Hite (DeForrest) from Missouri, USA on July 27 2003.
We all belong to one church or the other but in aBlazeNet we keep denominational teaching away and keep Christ in focus. With His Grace we are very stable as a network; and we set a base for our users and other ministries to reach out for the lost with the love and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
