Network Policy

Being a private IRC network....

Using our network is a privilege not a right, by connecting to this network, you agree to abide by all the rules listed. We do not monitor individual activity. You're responsible for any damages that may occur to you by connecting here. We have the right to decide who stays connected to our servers, and so to disconnect any user for any reason or for no reason.

We expect all our users to respect one another and maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere. Users who connect to make disturbances and to disrupt proceedings will be disconnected. If they reconnect and continue to disturb, they will be banned. All attempts to evade channel bans will result in network ban.

All network staff who helps us to help you and to keep this network going does so voluntarily, they need your love and respect, harassing them will initiate an immediate ban. If any user has any complaints about any network staff they can email us at admins(at)ablazenet.com. No complaints will be discussed in any channels.

Just as we having the right to decide who stays in our network, channel owners have the right to decide, as to who stays in their channel. All disputes of users getting banned in channel should be sorted out with the channel owner, we as a network will not entertain any such complaints.

Channel owners will be responsible for the actions of users in their channel, if they cant handle the situation themselves, they can request help from network staff.

We allow external bots on the basis of its function and its need to be on our servers. User mode of all bots are to be set +B so that others know its a bot. Other bots will be disconnected.

Maximum of 5 clones are allowed. If the clones exceed 5 all clones will get disconnected and banned for 30 minutes.

Being a Christian Network ............

The prime purpose of this network is to preach the Gospel, not just to Christians but to all "this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;". So our network is open to all, but what is preached must not be against the kingdom. All users are requested to respect each other, and not to insult anyone or their beliefs.

All debates, discussions and denominational teachings should be limited to appropriate channels and need to be done with due respect to one other. Common networks channels should never be used to discuss denominational differences.

Being a Family Friendly Network ..........

Language not appropriate for family and children will not be allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, all messages in the channels and in private, the nickname, username, real name quit and part messages of users. What is deemed appropriate in a channel is at the sole discretion of the channel management and should not be questioned.

Users with nicknames that are vulgar or misspelled vulgar words will be disconnected immediately irrespective of the channel(s) they are in. If they reconnect with the same nickname or other similar nicknames they will be banned from the network.

Channels with inappropriate names, topic, or greetings will be dropped. The channel owner will be held responsible and will be dealt with accordingly.

Channels for dating or of adult content will not be allowed. Users are requested to report any attempts of inappropriate adult chat in private to the network staff with a log of the alleged activity. If no one is available online, you can either paste them in #Opers or email it to admins(at)ablazenet.com.

Being a law abiding network ............

Laws vary depending on where you are connecting from, if any law in your country or the country you connect from, forbids you to be on our website or chat servers for what so ever reasons, you must abide by them and must stay off. We will not be monitoring individual activities and will not be responsible for any violations from you part.

We don't want to have any illegal activities going on in this network, attempts to exploit bugs in client applications, posting links to trojans, viruses and other executable files, is a crime in most countries. Any such action may initiate an automatic ban for a day. If the user continues to do so, they will be permanently banned from aBlazeNet. Complaints may be lodged with their ISP for further action.

Abusing or threatening users, including threats to commit suicide and all sorts of emotional blackmailing are forbidden in aBlazeNet. Such users will be disconnected from the network with links to sites where they can find help online. If they reconnect and continue with the threats, complaints will be lodged with their ISP for further action.

All channel managers are requested to informs us of any such incidence in their channel. If they try to sort things out themselves, all responsibility for their action and the consequences will lie solely upon them, and aBlazeNet will not be held responsible.

Channels related to drugs, hacking, file sharing, attacking other servers or individuals etc. are forbidden. All such attempts will be reported to their ISP for further action.

Recommendations:

Counseling requires qualified people. Seeking help from laymen can make things worse. Either seek professional help or talk with qualified people.

Never pass on any personal information like real names, address, phone numbers or email address to people you meet in chat rooms. Also please do not disclose your IP address, which is masked by default.

Never accept any files or do DCC chat/send with strangers. It can disclose your IP and the files transferred can contain viruses or trojans which can eventually compromise your computer.

Never execute any commands strangers may ask you unless you are sure what it is and what it does. Certain commands can gave others access to your computer.

We don't accept any kind of donation or entertain seeking financial aide from our users, or try to sell any products or services.
