Rapture Ready
I am seeing a lot of questions and even a bit of fear about the rapture and end times. As a Christian this is actually an exciting time, but for those who have yet to believe it will be confusing.
So, our jobs as Christians is prepare those who have not accepted Jesus into their hearts for the rapture. We should prepare them not with fear, but with hope and excitement about what lays in store for Christians. We do, however, need to also prepare them for the chaotic world they will be living in if the have not accepted Jesus by this time.
1Thessalonians 4
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
If anyone would ever like to listen about the rapture and how the current & past events support biblical prophecy you can always go to www.rapturereadyradio.com which is a radio show I started because I was an avid reader www.rapturereadyradio.com, and thought it would be another great avenue to spread the word!

What Lies Ahead!
What Lies Ahead!
Update October 2009
The Bible clearly shows, as the Tribulation approaches, that various diseases would emerge and increase. It also tells that weather patterns would change (this has nothing to do with carbon emissions by mankind). These events would happen as birth pangs of a woman; increasing in frequency and intensity, as the Tribulation approaches, continuing during the Tribulation, and culminating immediately after the Tribulation when Jesus Christ returns at the time of Armageddon.
The Bible also shows, as the Rapture approaches, more and more people would turn from following Jesus; and fewer and fewer people would turn to God in truth. Religious deception and lukewarm teaching would abound and replace sound biblical doctrine. Is God speaking to your heart? Is He trying to draw you to repentance? If so, do not hesitate or resist His calling.

What lies ahead? According to the Scriptures, what lies ahead is both bad news and good news.
The bad news is the Tribulation, the worst time since man has existed, is coming soon–Mt 24:21.
The good news is that the Rapture of true born again Christians is also near–Lk 21:28,36; 1 Thes 4:16,17. But this is bad news for so-called Christians that do not obey the Gospel and follow Jesus as it is written–2 Thes 1:8. This is because they will be left behind, and their time to repent is running out. The number of true followers of God will become more and more like the days of Noah, Lot, Sodom and Gomorrah, as the pressure is turned up–Lk 17:28; Mt 24:27.
The bad news is that alternate life styles will continue to increase. Alternate life styles can be expected to prosper and become more and more accepted as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah–Lk 17:28–30. More laws to protect them and give them special rights may also be enacted.
Many freedoms that the U.S. and some other countries have enjoyed can be expected to erode. Since there will be a world dictator coming on the scene soon, this means certain freedoms we enjoy must be done away with–Dan 7:25. More controls (through new laws and programs) must be implemented to manage and control the people and the education of the children. Any news-media (of any kind) that is not inline with this and what needs to be done in order to control the people and usher in a world dictator must be suppressed by all means possible by powers in high places–Eph 6:12.
Little by little, the Bible, the name of Christ, or Jesus Christ, the name of Christmas, and other such references must be suppressed and discredited–Acts 4:18.
Bible scholars, teachers and pastors that expound sound doctrine and prophecy need to be eliminated or discredited, or controlled by all means possible through trumped up charges, new laws or misuse of existing laws. Those that teach a "feel good" Gospel and "what sinful man's ears want to hear" may prosper–2Tim 4:3.
It is already difficult to find a church anymore that teaches as Jesus and the apostles did. Indeed, the day is coming when there will be a famine of hearing God's Word–Amos 8:11.

Book Recommendation
If you are interested in biblical prophecy I would recommend reading The Masterpice by Joseph Chambers. Mr. Chambers takes a look a the Book of Revelation and celebrates our Lord's masterpiece. I interviewed Mr. Chambers on my radio show a few weeks ago, and I was impressed by his knowledge. You can listen to the interview by going to the website below.
