Christ coming back again from Heaven and not from the Sky
In Acts 1:11, here the bible talks about Christ coming again from heaven. The point here is that Heaven does not mean sky, in the Greek manuscript of the bible the term “ουρανός” refers to sky or heaven and it is used interchangeably. So when we pray “Our Father who art in heaven…”we do not mean that God is in the sky. Heaven is an exalted realm of holiness and high value. There is no physical distance between Heaven (spirit world) and Earth (physical world). The spirit world is a world transcendent of time and space whereas the physical world is a world limited by time and space. You cannot get into the spirit world by a space rocket even if you travel at the speed of light for 1,000,000 billion years, because it not separated by a physical distance from earth but a spiritual distance. However you can enter the spirit world in fraction of a second while meditating on your bed or even at dream. So the separation between heaven and earth is subjective and not objective. Because of the low intellectuality of the primitive men God use the sky as an object to improve his interaction with them, so when the early men like Abraham were performing an offering of sacrifice to God they look upwards, you wouldn’t blame them that was the level of their understanding.
So when Jesus ascended into heaven the few apostles who saw the apparition did so with their spiritual sight, as such the sensation they experience was like someone going into the clouds. So they transcended beyond the physico-spiritual boundary of their sensory organs and were even able to see the Angel who scorned them from gazing at the Sky that Jesus is coming back in like manner from Heaven. Jesus truly came from Heaven the first time (John 3:13, John 6:41, John 6:51, John 6:58), John the Baptist also came from Heaven (as the ascended Elijah 900 years before) the first time (Mal 4:5, Matt 11:14; 17:13). Consequently, Jesus did not go into the physical sky but into the spiritual sky (Heaven) as an incorporeal being.
For example, when Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus on the mount of transfiguration (Matt 17:1-4), it was a spiritual exposition; the disciples of Jesus had the spiritual experience because their spiritual senses were temporary restored. So Moses and Elijah did not descend from the sky to appear unto them, rather in a moment there was that transfiguration and they started seeing the spirit of Elijah and Moses. Similarly, when Paul was on his way to Damascus, he had a spiritual encounter with Jesus (Acts 22:6-9) “Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. 7 And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’ 8 So I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’ 9 “And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid,[a] but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me.” The other persons following Paul did not hear the voice that spoke to Paul, because their spiritual senses were not restored temporary, but Paul’s spiritual sight and spiritual sense of hearing were both restored temporary in that encounter.
Man lost this spiritual ability to communicate with the spirit world following the fall of Adam, that is why we ask a lot of questions like: does God exist? Who am I? Where are my dead ancestors? And many others. But bible states in Acts 2:17 “ In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams”. So God had promised that our spiritual senses will be restored in the last days so we can communicate easily with the sprit world, which is an invisible substantial world just as the physical world is a visible substantial world.

Separating the spiritual and the material
Interesting post. Thanks for it. It sounds like the main thrust of this argument is a material/spiritual dichotomy. Christ is not returning from the sky (material universe) he is returning from Heaven (spiritual dimension). If I don't follow properly please let me know.
I can see how this separation seems quite natural. As non Christians we're blind to spiritual truth, i.e., God, the gospel, scripture, etc. When we turn to Christ it is as if we can suddenly see. The lights have come on so to speak. This sudden illumination of the soul is due to the new and residing presence of the Holy Spirit and the resultant new birth of our spirit. Perhaps this dramatic and sudden difference can lead us to believe that things spiritual are good and things material are bad.
Before I became a Christian it appeared to me that this material world lacked spiritual qualities. It seemed, for example, that nothing spiritual existed, that the universe lacked meaning, purpose, a spiritual dimension. Although, I do have some explicit memories of sensing profound evil. This, I think, is a natural discernment of demonic influence in the world. Real spiritual illumination (into the things of God) can only be had from God.
When we become believers we suddenly begin to perceive the natural world through spiritual eyes. God transforms (in our perception) this natural world when we see it through the lens of the Holy Spirit and the new birth. What I conclude is that everything God has made is good. This is why some of the deepest times of Christian fellowship can be had over a meal. It is also why, in the biblical context of marriage, sexual (physical) intimacy can be a profound and spiritual expression of love. What I am saying is that God redeems the natural world when we see it through him.
God made us for himself. He made the material universe for us. When we have him the material world falls into its intended role. Without him, it is just a vanity and vexation.
The material spiritual dichotomy rests not in the perception: matter/evil, spirit/good. God created everything good. It is just that things material only achieve their true stature when things spiritual are properly aligned.
