You won't miss this day

I want to share from my heart in this writing and I will start from scripture this from the nasb....
Rom 13:11
{Do} this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.
Rom 13:12
The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Rom 13:13
Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy.
Rom 13:14
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to {its} lusts.

I have spoke along the lines of Righteousness before and in the beginning of this chapter Paul says that we should be submissive for conscious sake and there is something the child of God needs to be in mind of daily that we are wearing God' name. The day we repented Jesus became our righteousness because of our incomplete obedience. There is Authority in the home, in the church, in society, and in businesses. The things we need to keep ever aware of that there is no one ever in Authority that God doesn't allow there.I believe I pastor the church where I pastor due to God making the way for me to be where I'm at.I still believe God places the man as the head of the household, not as brute or dominating individual but to be the Spiritual leader in the home.Teenagers as long as you put your feet under Daddy's and Momma's table you are under their Authority. [that is first Judy 7;8] You may say where is the accountability in the Home with the Man being in charge or the head....It's with God himself. There is authority in the church and accountability for the pastor comes to the Lord and In my situation I have overseers that I give reports to and therefore my account.My son is being taught to respect authority in the home and elsewhere but there are times he needs some direction in this area. I know there are chains of command everywhere and it seems when we give in account when our Supervisor is around we try to show our best. I say all this to say we need to wake out of our sleep for the day of accountability is coming.
I have heard numerous times as a child that The Lord is coming and as a child there was a man at the church where I attended and his name was Claudis Pruitt and he believed that the return of the Lord was so close that he would often would make the statement that it would happened before he died.Well the Lord hasn't come and brother Claudis has left us a good while ago but the point is I knew he believed the Lord was returning like he said and he convinced me of it as well. I'll never forget when I heard the news of his passing I would often times look unto the skies looking for the return of the Lord.....
Luk 12:36
"Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open {the door} to him when he comes and knocks.
Luk 12:37
"Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself {to serve,} and have them recline {at the table,} and will come up and wait on them.

I am now much older and I still believe the Lord is coming and no matter where we are in the chain of Authority that we will witness the day of Accountability. The child of God need not to worry as a matter of fact Paul tells to comfort each other with the words of his soon return.I remember as a child how disappointed I was when I found out that Santa Clause was not real. I was told to be good for in hopes of opening presents.The apostle tells us to behave because the Jesus is soon coming.Our conduct should be more worshipful than the noise that comes out of our mouths.
Rom 13:13

Our lives should reflect his image, in our personal, professional, and Spiritual lives. I leave you with this allow God to awaken your soul from sleep to the anticipation of the soon returning king. He is not coming with reindeer he will be descending with a shout.
