Gods children are childlike

It is a constant battle for every Christian to resist temptation, It is never an easy struggle to follow in the footsteps of the Messiah. Do true Christians ever fall into sin? Yes, but that’s the point, he or she may fall into sin but Christians do not make provisions for the flesh, planning to sin ahead of time. This is the cross of repentance - that we learn to despise that which we were when we did sin, when it took dominion over us in that time of weakness that we all have known and occasionally still do. When a Christian does fall he feels the Nails driving deeper, and with his whole heart he cries out to the LORD for forgiveness. How many times will a young child touch a hot stove after being told not too before he learns? Here is the difference, sin does not always hurt us the same way as the stove. Imagine what would happen to the child touching the stove if it felt wonderful to him, like the greatest pleasures of the flesh that you or anyone has ever known, and nobody was there to stop him. When it comes to temptation and sin in many ways everyone is like that child, in desperate need of his heavenly Father.
