I am posting this blog to promote my new book that is soon to be released. "Living in the Hope of My Imagination" is a true life story and I am very candid and open in my discussion of the lifestyle I lived and the wrongs I have done. I would like to be able to network with other christians to try and get this book into the hands of people you know who don't go to church.

It's been a while since I have set foot in a church...I haven't been hearing God because I've been ignorant in my attitude, and now I'm paying for it. It wasn't till tonight that I heard God loud and clear...just that whisper telling me to get back on track. I spend money like there's no tomorrow, and I see friends just to have more alcohol than I can handle. I'm tired of that stuff. I tend to attach myself to the idea of someone being there, and I know I shouldn't...I'm just looking for a friend who I can count on.

I love the Lord so when He started speaking to me about my besetting sin I knew I had a real struggle on my hands, it was a straight choice between a close walk with Him or my darling sin although I would still be saved.
There was a song in my head, one of those oldie's choruses, the tune was pretty naffo but the words were pure diamond. I knew the Holy Spirit was placing in my hands the key to victory, so I started singing, the song goes like this,
I have been crucified, crucified with Christ
and I live no longer I but Christ lives in me
and the life that I now live I live by the faith

This is a totally new experience for me being able to communicate with other christians online.
I have been a christian for 40+ years. Until about 15 years ago I was able to devote a considerable amount of time in service to the Lord. Then I had to start working to support myself. About 8 years ago scheduling at work changed and now I am seldom able to attend church or be involved in any type of service for the Lord, or fellowship with other christians. I am praying that through this format I will be able to connect with other christians and rebuild my spiritual growth.
